All mechanical processes suffer from innate wear and tear, which can be more or less accentuated depending on some factors such as working time, temperature, humidity, maintenance, etc. At REMOMEC, we advise yearly audits in order to have a good control over all the processes, working actively with preventive maintenance so that we can prevent unwanted machine stops, lower production, premature wear of mechanical elements, etc.

Decks maintenance
The restoration or maintenance of decks is an increasingly requested intervention by our customers.
We notice significant wear in 4-year-old machines, depending on their workload, and we only use about 60 to 70% of its actual capacities. If it is the printing body, the heart of the printer, we will proceed to restore all mechanical worn parts, improving speed production, quality and its the life.
We suggest to check the status of every deck, one by one, in order to evaluate which parts are more worn out and to identify the ones that need to be replaced or recalibrated. This way, we can return the machine production capacity close to the original one and extend the useful life of machine avoiding register movement, bouncing, losses at doctor blades, etc.
